Pictures of him with Rebecca and Ronan vacationing in Florence Italy popped up along with an article depicting our enigmatic Daniel as a model husband and father. This was soon followed in the Italian tabloidsby the shocking news that our Daniel had forsaken acting to move to Italy and take up shoemaking! The story was even picked up in the US in the National Enquirer By summer's end, the excitement had died down. Daniel was safely back in Ireland, and we all quit pricing vacation packages to Italy and gave up our fantasies of Daniel fondling our feet as he measured them for a pair of new shoes.
